I haven't posted here in a while.

It seems that much of what I have been talking about here is still relivant, especially my critique of social media and Facebook in particular. Privacy is the big lie of Social Media, but that doesn't mean that we should not fight for control over our data. Part of my strategy has been to be more outspoken on social media because of that, not less.

I am even more convinced that the blog is the root of evil on social media, take that Google! and that USENET-like discussion forums are needed on social media sites because of the threat to Democracy from blogs that are used for marketing intelligence, again, take that Google.

I am an alumnus of Stanford University, but I will not give to its fundraising because it is complicit in the abuse of free speech in social media and because of its political economics, take that Stanford.
